Original Fit
Velocity has a trimmer, more tailored fit than the Kinetic Blazer, ideal for wearing over a dress shirt and under a coat. Partially lined, with shoulder padding, Velocity is structured for more formal settings. Our first generation Velocity Suit Jacket features a tailored fit that runs 1/2 small throughout the chest and bicep. We recommend sizing up one size.
New Generation Fit Update
Our newer generation fit (released in 2022) features an easier, yet tailored, fit in the chest and bicep that is approximately 1/2 size larger than our first generation and runs true to size. We recommend your normal size.
Chest Measurement
Measure under your arms, over the fullest part of your chest.
Sleeve Length Measurement
Measure from the center back of your neck (at your spine) to the end of your shoulder at the top of your arm. Next, measure from your shoulder to just past your wrist bone to where you would like your shirt cuff to sit. Always slightly bend the elbow when measuring to allow for extra ease. Add the two numbers together for your sleeve length measurement.
Alterations
The Velocity is half-lined, allowing the rear dart seams and center back seam to be taken in easily by your local tailor. Sleeve adjustments of 1" can easily be performed at the cuff. We recommend that shortening of more than 1" be performed at the shoulder by your tailor.
